Getting started

From an AI coding agent, run npx @backifydev/cli deploy. If the repository is not linked yet, the CLI opens a guided Backify portal flow to sign in, choose an organization and hosting target, and connect the GitHub repository and branch. The CLI receives the new application through a short-lived local callback and prepares the repository. Commit the resulting changes, then run npx @backifydev/cli deploy again to push the connected branch. Backify analyzes usage, creates a capability manifest and plan, provisions, builds, deploys, and verifies.

For an application that already exists, you can also create it in the portal and run backify init --app app_xxxxx in its repository.
